After
living abroad for 20 years Hilary returned to Britain
and set up her studio in Abingdon.
She makes functional stoneware pots and enjoys experimenting
with clays, slips and glazes.
Her
work is influenced by her travels and she is inspired
by women in the Berber culture who express their tribes'
identity through symbols, many of which are reproduced
in Hilary's decoration.
