Liz's
studio is part of a former watermill near to Chipping
Norton.
She creates thrown earthenware decorated with richly
coloured clay slips under a transparent glaze.
Liz says, "I make the sort of functional pots that
I like to use myself. My recent work has explored the
strong colours and tendency towards metallic specking
of natural oxides. Shapes are organic, and I use sgraffito
drawing to create images caught by the energetic strokes
of the brush."
